God united Adam and Eve in holy matrimony, saying: "Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). It’s clear that God considers marriage the most pivotal part of society because when we’re married, we contribute to a stable society and we can create a healthy and loving environment for our children. We are a part of something bigger than ourselves and God is glorified. Marriage also involves a call from God.
