 MONDAY

Your Father Cares for You

I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you.
I am like a tree that is always green;
    all your fruit comes from me. (Hos. 14:8 NLT)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? How does He take care of you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • Your Father listens to you and answers your prayers.

  • Your Father loves you dearly and takes care of you faithfully.

  • Your Father is fresh and vibrant toward you, not worn out and weary.

Today’s prayer: God, I want to understand that You are my Father, and I want this understanding to change my life forever. Please open my eyes so I can see You as my Father more clearly.

May your Monday be blessed, and may you be able to see your Father’s tender care in everything you do today.

 

TUESDAY

Your Father Has Good in Mind for You

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
     He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul. (Ps. 23:1–3 NIV)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? How does He take care of you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • The heart of God your Father is to take care of you so well that you lack nothing.

  • Your Father knows what you need, even down in the inner places where you feel afraid or weary or tired.

  • Your Father is leading you to places that are good for you.

Today’s prayer: Father God, there are times when it’s very hard for me to see Your provision in my life, but Your Word says that You are with me and are taking care of me. Please help me to perceive how You are my Father who provides everything for me.

May your Tuesday be blessed, and may you come to realize your Father’s goodness in a new way.

 

WEDNESDAY

Knowing Your Father Gives You Courage

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Josh. 1:9 NASB)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? How does He take care of you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • Because He’s your Father, you get to be strong and courageous.

  • Your Father is with you. This means you can ALWAYS be strong and courageous, no matter what.

  • He’s your Father—you will never be terrified or dismayed.

Today’s prayer: Father God, what does it mean that You are with me? Please teach me more about Your presence in my life, and show me how I can be strong and courageous because of You. You are my Father, and I am strong and brave because of You.

May your Wednesday be blessed, and may you feel your Father’s presence strongly.

  

THURSDAY

Knowing Your Father Gives You Peace

The Lord bless you, and keep you;

 The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;

 The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace. (Num. 6:24–26 NASB)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? What does He want to do for you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • Your Father is very close by. He is helping you.

  • His heart is soft and tender toward you.

  • As you get to know your Father better, His peace will flood your heart.

Today’s prayer: Father God, please give me wisdom about this passage from Numbers 6. I want to know the light of Your face and Your peace that cannot be shaken. You are my Father, and I am so glad You are with me.

May your Thursday be blessed, and may you rejoice in your Father today.

 

FRIDAY

Your Father Has Good Things for You

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Cor. 9:8 NIV)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? What does He have for you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • Your Father wants to bless you beyond what you actually need.

  • Your Father wants to meet your needs—and then surpass them, giving you more than you require.

  • Your Father cares about your destiny and the good works He has set aside for you.

Today’s prayer: Father God, You have given me so much already. Please forgive me for the times when I’m so focused on myself that I miss the beautiful things You are doing around me. I want to see those things—I don’t want to miss a single thing You’re doing. You are my Father, and You are at work in my life.

May your Friday be blessed, and may your confidence in the Lord rise up strong.

 

SATURDAY

Your Father Has Good Plans for You

 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jer. 29:11 NIV)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? How does He take care of you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • Your Father has not forgotten the things He said He would do for you.

  • Your Father has GOOD plans for you, not plans to harm you.

  • Your Father’s plans for you will prosper you and give you hope.

Today’s prayer: Father God, I declare that Your plans for me are GOOD. I let go of the fear that I’m going to mess up or fail or be forgotten, or that You have bad things in store for me. Your plans for me are good, and I am going to see good things happen in my life, because You are my Father.

May your Saturday be blessed, and may you know the comfort of your Father at a deep level.

  

SUNDAY

Your Father Is Constant, All-the-time Love for You

 But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows. (Luke 12:7 NASB)

What does this verse tell you about the Father heart of God? How does He think and feel concerning you? How does He take care of you? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you more, and journal your thoughts.

Here are three simple things you can know about God your Father based on this verse:

  • You have your Father’s attention. He knows all your details.

  • You NEVER need to wonder whether or not He loves you.

  • He’s your Father, and you are precious to Him.

Today’s prayer: Father God, please help me to see how much You love me—to really, really see it. May I become courageous in Your love! You are my Father, and Your love for me is so great that my heart cannot contain all of it.
