MONDAY

God’s Love for Me Is REAL

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. (1 John 4:16 NASB)

Application: Consider what 1 John 4:16 means to you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down what He shows you or impresses on your heart. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • God’s love for me is something tangible. Something I can come to know in a deep way. Not just hear about, not just read about in Scripture, but know at a level that changes my life and how I think.

  • God’s love is the road I walk on. It is the most important thing I have.

  • Even when my heart feels disconnected from God’s love, His love is real and it is right here for me to discover it. He wants me to know His love myself.

  • I can ask Him to help me know and believe His love for me.

Blessing: May you experience the Lord’s love in everything you do today!

TUESDAY

God’s Love for Me Is My Security

When I look at you,
I see your inner strength, so stately and strong.
You are as secure as David’s fortress.
Your virtues and grace cause a thousand famous soldiers
to surrender to your beauty. (Songs 4:4 TPT)

Application: Consider what Song of Solomon 4:4 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down the holy thoughts (not condemning or manipulative ones) that go through your head. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • When God looks at me, He sees what’s real about me. He sees my true identity.

  • I am strong in Him, not weak.

  • I am attractive and desirable because He says I am. And because He says it, it is true. This special beauty I carry isn’t there because I’ve earned it or forced it to happen, but it’s there simply because He finds me beautiful.

  • I am completely secure in Him. I am as secure as David’s fortress.

Blessing: May you come to experience and deeply feel God’s love for you!

WEDNESDAY

God’s Love for Me Endures

Do not fret because of those who are evil
    or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away. (Ps. 37:1–2 NIV)

Application: Consider what Psalm 37:1–2 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down what He shows you. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • God is not temporary, and nothing He does is temporary. His love does not wither up or fail or fall short.

  • I am like my Father.

  • I get to set my focus on what God is doing and not be afraid when the world is shaking. I am not shaking. I am intensely secure in Him.

Blessing: May you come to see how strong and faithful the Father’s love is for you!

THURSDAY

God’s Love Surrounds Me

At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you
for your kindness and your love.
As the sun sets and all through the night,
we will keep proclaiming, “You are so faithful!” (Ps. 92:2 TPT)

Application: Consider what Psalm 92:2 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down what you sense He says. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • My life is filled up with the kindness of God.

  • My life is filled up with the love of God.

  • My life is filled up with the faithfulness of God.

  • When I thank Him for what He is doing with me, when I speak out my worship and praise to Him, something powerful happens in the spiritual realm. My worship is weightier and more powerful than I realize.

Blessing: May your heart know the sweet pleasure of worshiping the One who made it!

FRIDAY

God Loves Me More Than I Think

So don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. (Matt. 6:31–33 NLT)

Application: Consider what Matthew 6:31–33 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down your thoughts, feelings, and impressions. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • My Father cares for me more than I realize or understand.

  • I don’t have to worry about what the world worries about. I get to think different thoughts and have a different focus.

  • The most important thing I can do is whatever I do with Him.

  • My Father is faithful to me, and He is taking care of me.

Blessing: May your confidence in the Lord’s love for you become strong and powerful.

SATURDAY

God’s Love Is My Safe Place That Never Changes

This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. (Ps. 91:2 NLT)

Application: Consider what Psalm 91:2 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, listen to what He says, and write down what He shows you. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • The Lord is my safe place. I can run to Him and hide myself in His arms.

  • The Lord is worthy of my trust. He won’t let go of me. There is no safe place outside of Him.

  • I can declare who He is and not be afraid.

Blessing: May you know how safe you really are with God!

SUNDAY

My Love for God Moves His Heart

You have captured my heart,
    my treasure, my bride.
You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes,
with a single jewel of your necklace. (Songs 4:9 NLT)

Application: Consider what Song of Solomon 4:9 means for you personally. Ask the Lord about it, and write down what He shows you. Here are some ideas to work from:

  • God is moved by my love for Him.

  • My love for God is a big deal. It matters and it impacts Him.

  • My love for God is not a small offering to His heart.

  • The Lord rejoices in me more than I expect Him to.

  • Blessing: May your heart see God’s love clearly and begin to overflow!
