Your Precious Testimony of God's Mercy

Greetings from Becoming the One!
Dear Becoming the One Family,
Did you know the Lord has deep compassion for you—especially in your weakest places where you need healing?
This month at Becoming the One, we’re exploring the deep connection between gratitude, compassion, and emotional healing.
When we stumble or fail (and we all do), God doesn’t respond with condemnation. Instead, He meets us with mercy. Many of us are used to feeling judged and condemned—by others or by ourselves—but that’s not how our loving heavenly Father treats us. His compassion is healing. It restores what’s broken inside us.
This is the tender heart of God for you:
Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
(Matt. 7:9–11 NIV)
We’ve all experienced pain. We all carry wounds that need healing, and only Jesus can take what’s broken and turn it into something good. When we run to Him for healing, we can expect to be healed. He won’t give us a stone (something we can’t use) when we come to Him for help.
Because of His heart for us and the way He heals, even the tragedies of our lives are not wasted—God can use them and turn them into gold.
In fact, your testimony of healing is one of His greatest gifts to you. “This is what God has done! Let me tell you how He has set me free.”
Come and listen, all you who fear God,
and I will tell you what he did for me. (Ps. 66:16 NLT)
For a long time, I was afraid to talk about the amazing things God had done for me. My story involved my family, and I didn’t want to offend or expose them. But as time went on, I realized how much I needed to speak, and—thankfully—the Holy Spirit helped me find the right words. Everything changes because of His compassion.
How has God healed YOU?
Are you willing to share the testimony of His compassion toward you?
Do you realize how precious your story is? Someone out there needs to hear it, and God wants to use your story to help them! Don’t be afraid to talk about what He has done for you.
This month, may your heart be awakened to the depth of the Lord’s love and compassion for you. May you feel it so fully that gratitude rises up and overflows—until you can’t help but laugh with joy at how good He truly is.
May God bless you!
In His love,
Leon and Salomé for the Becoming the One Team
