Week of March 18, 2019
MONDAY
Psalm 49:1–5
Listen to this, all the peoples! Pay attention, inhabitants of the whole world! Those of the highest spheres and the common people, rich and poor: Listen! My words are wise and my thoughts are full of good perception.
Why should I fear when difficulties come, when enemies surround me?
Problems and difficulties do not respect economic or social condition, and when they are presented, all you need is a Word of wisdom. That is why God comes to your life every day with His Word to help you overcome all adversity!
The thoughts and words that come out of your mouth will determine what reaction you have. Therefore, do not let your mind concentrate on difficulties. Do not worry! Remember that God is with you and that each test is an opportunity to advance and to improve yourself.
Pray this way: Father God, thank You because every day You add new strengths and expectations to my life. I know that with Your help I can overcome any difficulty. I decide to change my thoughts and my words for Your words. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Monday!
TUESDAY
Psalm 27:13–14
However, I trust that I will see the goodness of the Lord while I am here, in the land of the living. Wait with patience for the Lord; be courageous and mighty; yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Never lower your arms—God will never abandon you!
Remember that opportunities arise from difficulties. Trust in God; you will see His goodness on earth!
In a restaurant, they first serve you food and then you pay. In life you have to pay the price first and then the reward comes. Wait for the Lord—He is never late!
Pray this way: Father God, I believe in Your promises and I wait patiently. I trust that I will see Your hand working in my favor. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Tuesday!
WEDNESDAY
Proverbs 12:18–19
There are people whose words are like stabbings, but the language of the wise heals the wounds. The truthful lips remain forever, but the lying tongue has a short life.
Think before you speak, because inconsiderate words hurt like a dagger, but those said with wisdom are medicine for the one who receives them.
Even a truth said without love and mercy can hurt! But if we do it with love, that truth is healing.
How important it is to get used to speaking with wisdom!
Pray this way: Father God, thank You for Your advice. I ask You to forgive me for hurting You with my words. Please give me wisdom to speak and heal, to build and not destroy. I ask you in the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Wednesday!
THURSDAY
John 6:67–69
Then Jesus, looking at the Twelve, asked them: “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter answered: “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life. We believe and we know that You are the Holy One of God!”
The word of Jesus was hard for those who were not willing to change course, and some left. But Peter understood that his Master’s words brought healing to the sick, freedom to the oppressed, peace to the afflicted, prosperity in their projects, and eternal Life for everyone who believes.
Like Peter, you also can receive and apply His Word every day so that all those blessings reach you!
Pray this way: Father God, thank You for Your daily words that bring me blessing and eternal life. I choose to walk in them. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Thursday!
FRIDAY
Joshua 1:9
Listen to what I command: Be strong and be brave. Do not be afraid or faint, for I am the Lord your God, and I will be with you wherever you go.
Every day we make decisions. Sometimes they are accompanied by doubts and fears: fear that we do not have the expected result, fear of rejection, fear of losing money or losing relationships, fear of suffering.
Fear paralyzes and weakens you. It prevents you from making correct decisions.
God wants to be with you and remove all fear from your life. He wants to instill within you the confidence that you’ve chosen correctly and bring peace to your heart and your thoughts.
It’s good that you also want to be with Him! And that you believe that with God, everything you undertake will turn out well!
Pray this way: Father, thank You for Your Word that gives me confidence. I put aside all fear, believing that You are with me. I am willing to follow Your advice and that way everything will turn out well. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Friday!
SATURDAY
1 Chronicles 11:4–5
Then David went with all Israel to Jerusalem where the Jebusites lived, the original inhabitants of that land. The people of Jebus mocked David: “You will never enter here!” But David took the stronghold of Zion, which is now called the City of David.
How many times have people told you, “You cannot do it”? Perhaps this has happened in your own family, with your friends, with envious people or your competitors. Maybe even you yourself have said it!
They told famous King David, “You will never enter here,” but he ignored those negative voices and entered and changed the history of that city.
Believe, cheer up, go for it. God puts extraordinary challenges ahead of you, and like David you will also achieve the impossible!
Pray like this: Lord, thank You for Your Word because it encourages and strengthens me to achieve the purpose for my life. I believe, I encourage myself, and I will go for it. I can achieve everything in Jesus! In His name, amen.
Blessed Saturday!
SUNDAY
Genesis 39:21–23
But the Lord was with Joseph in the jail and showed him His faithful love. The Lord caused Joseph to be the preferred manager of the prison. Shortly after the director put Joseph in charge of the other prisoners and everything that happened in the prison. The manager had nothing to worry about, because Joseph was taking care of everything. The Lord was with him and he was prospering in everything he did.
Joseph was in jail because his previous boss unjustly accused him, but God prospered him even when he was a prisoner.
When the Lord blesses you, nothing can lock you up or stop you. In spite of an unfavorable economic situation or an arrangement that does not recognize you, if you seek God to follow Him and obey Him, all blessings will reach you!
Pray like this: Father God, I choose to follow You and trust in Your Word. I declare that beyond all circumstances Your promises are always fulfilled, and I will be prosperous in everything. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Blessed Sunday!
