You Are Safe in His Love

Greetings from Becoming the One!

Dear Becoming the One family,

Do you know how safe you are with your heavenly Father? All because of His covenant with you!

His covenant, established through Jesus Christ, means His love for you isn’t fickle. He doesn’t love you one day and then change His mind the next. He loves you—continually, day in, day out, without fail, without hesitancy, without change, without drawing back.

This month at Becoming the One, we’re talking about a culture of love. He chose to communicate with us, redeem us, and provide eternal life in Jesus through covenant with us.  

Here is a glimpse of what God’s love means:

  • He forgives all our sins (Ps. 103).

  • He heals all our diseases (Ps. 103).

  • He redeems our lives from the pit (Ps. 103).

  • He crowns us with love (Ps. 103).

  • He satisfies our desires with good things so we are renewed and refreshed (Ps. 103).

  • He enables us to overcome all powers of darkness (Luke 10:19).

  • He completely redeems us from the enemy (Col. 1:13).

  • We are purified from all sin (1 John 1:7).

  • We are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13).

  • We are seated with Jesus in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6).

  • We are holy (Col. 3:12).

That is what God’s love looks like in YOUR life!

All you need to do is say “yes” and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

Our covenant with God is the foundation for every other thing in our lives. He doesn’t want us just to know about His love, but He wants us to experience it, to feel it in our hearts—so much that we are completely filled up with all His fullness. His love leads to His fullness!

I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Eph. 3:17–19 NIV)

Do you understand the beautiful covenant you have with Jesus?

Sadly, many believers either have no idea what their covenant with Him looks like or they feel unforgiven, so they don’t trust the covenant. They don’t feel safe with Him.

But you, beloved child of God, are wonderfully safe with your heavenly Father. If you need to start over, you can. If you need to begin again tomorrow, you can.

Choose to embrace Christ’s love and forgiveness. Live in a covenant relationship with Him—and expect to have a covenant marriage with God at the center.
