One of the beautiful things about knowing Jesus is that we don’t have to worry about our life. We just don’t. Fear drives so much of the world around us, but worry, anxiety, and panic don’t even have to be a blip on our radar.

The Bible repeatedly says, “Don’t be afraid,” and it really means it. How can it say such a thing? Because there truly is no reason for the people of God to be afraid. The love of Jesus is the answer to every fear we could possibly have (1 John 4:18). He loves us more than we know, and He is taking care of us.  

Beloved child of God, you do not need to worry about any aspect of your life. 

The love of Jesus encompasses everything you could possibly need: 

This is why I tell you to never be worried about your life, for all that you need will be provided, such as food, water, clothing—everything your body needs. Isn’t there more to your life than a meal? Isn’t your body more than clothing? Consider the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? So, which one of you by worrying could add anything to your life? (Matt. 6:25–27 TPT)

Signs of Jesus’ love are everywhere! There is no place in your life where His love is absent.

When you are anxious, Jesus is the Prince of peace (Isa. 9:6). Because of Him, you have access to all the peace of Heaven. 

When you are sick, Jesus is the Healer (Isa. 53:5; Matt. 8:16). He heals everyone who comes to Him.

When you feel like a failure, Jesus is pure and perfect light. Because of Him, you belong to the light, not to the darkness. The light is your true home (Col. 1:13).

When you feel overwhelmed, the name of Jesus is greater than every other name (Phil. 2:11). Calling on Him cuts through enemy lines to bring you salvation (Rom. 10:13).

What is Jesus whispering to your heart?

When you are quiet and just listen, what can you hear Jesus whispering to you? Take a few minutes to find out, especially if you feel anxious.  

Whatever you are concerned about today, remember Jesus and how you don’t need to worry about any aspect of your life. He is the answer, and He is greater than fear. You are covered. You are protected. He has you in His arms. He is singing over you.
