MONDAY

You Look Like Your Father

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Gen. 1:27 NASB)

By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world. (1 John 4:17 TPT)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

Do you think you look like your heavenly Father? Why or why not? What keeps you from being able to see yourself the way He sees you? Determine to renew your mind in this area, and walk in the truth of His thoughts concerning you.

TUESDAY

You Are Powerful Because He Is Powerful

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control. (2 Tim. 1:7 TPT)

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Cor. 12:10 NIV)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

Do you understand that God is with you to help you? Do you know, without doubt, that His strength is your strength and where you are weak, He is strong? He can fill in that weakness for you and turn it into something truly powerful on the earth. Something outside human possibility.

Determine to renew your mind in this area, and walk in the truth of His thoughts concerning you.

WEDNESDAY

You Are Completely Safe in Times of Trouble

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
    and my place of safety. (Ps. 18:2 NLT)

A person’s fear sets a trap for him,

    but one who trusts Yahweh is safe. (Prov. 29:25 NOG)

I lay down and slept;

    I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.

I will not be afraid of multitudes of people

    who have set themselves against me all around. (Ps. 3:5–6 MEV)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

What do the verses listed into today’s entry say about God? What do they say about you—because of what they say about God? Determine to renew your mind in this area, and walk in the truth of His thoughts concerning you.

THURSDAY

You Are Not Forgotten; You Are Treasured

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

Look up into the heavens.
    Who created all the stars?
He brings them out like an army, one after another,
    calling each by its name.
Because of his great power and incomparable strength,
    not a single one is missing.
O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles?
    O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights? (Isa. 40:26–27 NLT)

And I myself taught Ephraim to walk;

    I took them in my arms,

but they did not know that I healed them. (Hos. 11:3 LEB)

How can I give you up, O Ephraim?
    How can I hand you over, O Israel?...
My heart is disturbed within me;
    all my compassions are aroused. (Hos. 11:8 LEB)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

Do you feel like God has forgotten you? Does it seem like He remembers others…but not you? Based on the verses listed in today’s entry, is that thought/emotion true—the one that says you’re not important to His heart? Read Isaiah 40 and journal what the Holy Spirit shows you.

FRIDAY

You Are Carried in His Arms

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

Like a shepherd, he will care for his flock,
    gathering the lambs in his arms,
Hugging them as he carries them,
    leading the nursing ewes to good pasture. (Isa. 40:11 MSG)

Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you. (Isa. 46:4 NKJV)

…and in the wilderness, where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, just as one carries a child, all the way that you traveled until you reached this place. (Deut. 1:31 NRSV)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

Do you feel carried by God? Why or why not?

Can you sense His arms around you? Do you understand that even if you don’t sense them—they are there? Ask God to show your heart how safe you are in His arms. Journal what He says to you.

SATURDAY

You Shine Brightly in a Dark World

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

You are the world’s light—it is impossible to hide a town built on the top of a hill. Men do not light a lamp and put it under a bucket. They put it on a lamp-stand and it gives light for everybody in the house. (Matt. 5:14–15 PHILLIPS)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:5 ESV)

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
    which shines brighter and brighter until full day. (Prov. 4:18 ESV)

Do everything without complaining or arguing. Then you will be blameless and innocent. You will be God’s children without any faults among people who are crooked and corrupt. You will shine like stars among them in the world. (Phil. 2:14–15 NOG)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

Do you feel like the darkness is stronger than God’s light? If you do, take a deep breath and realize that thought/emotion is not true. The truth of the matter is that the light of God will ALWAYS best the darkness. There is no other option—the darkness cannot win, no matter how hard it tries (Ps. 46:10).

Determine to renew your mind in this area, and walk in the truth of God’s thoughts concerning you.

SUNDAY

You Are Utterly Fearless

Read the following verses with a faith-filled mindset, and allow the Holy Spirit to connect the verses to your heart. Think about what they mean for you personally:

The Lord is with me.
I will not be afraid.
What can people do to me? (Ps. 118:6 EHV)

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
    Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
    I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (Isa. 41:10 NLT)

Fear nothing and no one except Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies! Honor him as holy. Be in awe before him with deepest reverence! He will become for you a holy sanctuary but for them a stone people trip over. He is a rock that causes the two houses of Israel to stumble… (Isa 8:13–14 TPT)

Journal Your Thoughts

What is the Holy Spirit showing you?

As a child of God, part of “thinking clearly” means knowing deep in your heart that God is with you and that you can trust Him. If you do not feel at peace with Him today, take some time to reacquaint yourself with what the Bible says about Him. He is stronger than man’s strength, and He is the only power worthy of your focus and respect.

Determine to renew your mind in this area, and walk in the truth of God’s thoughts concerning you.
