Being Thankful Will Increase Your Confidence

If you feel uncertain in life, here is a brief glimpse into what the Bible says about you:
The Lord thinks you are wonderful (Ps. 139:14).
Everything God does is magnificent, and He made you (Ps. 139:14).
You are secure in the Lord. He is a trustworthy source for your heart (Isa. 26:4).
Every day He is pleased with you (Zeph. 3:17).
You get to be fearless because He loves you (1 John 4:18).
You have been delivered from sin forever (Rom. 6:22).
You are holy, completely flawless, and 100% free from accusation (Col. 1:22).
You are part of God’s household (Eph. 2:19).
He will never abandon you, which means you get to be brave in life (Deut. 31:8).
You are His beloved child with a special calling (Eph. 2:10).
You have an amazing future ahead of you (Jer. 29:11).
You have a clear mind, so you can think well and love others well (2 Tim. 1:7).
You belong to God (Isa. 43:1).
You get to live a hope-filled, thankful, courageous life because God will do exactly what He promised you (Num. 23:19).
You will see the goodness of God. You get to be confident in His goodness toward you (Ps. 27:13).
God has filled your life with good things (Ps. 103:5).
All the benefits of God are for you (Ps. 103:1–5).
This month at Becoming the One, we’re talking about a culture of thanksgiving. Having a thankful heart chases away doubt, despair, and the whispering lies of fear. We get to be confident because of His goodness! As we give thanks for the good things He has done for us, we are transformed and become more truly ourselves.
The Creator made us and we are His (Ps. 100:3). Our true identity is found only in Him.
You have nothing to fear. He took great pleasure in crafting your heart and desires. He is not far from you, but you get to relax with Him and discover what He says about your identity. Truly, there is so much to be thankful for!
